Was wonder if anybody know specifically what this problem can be.... Goes shets off and I'll have to turn the car off and on to make it work again

I had a bad ground from the negative battery cable to the frame just below the battery/fuse panel. It caused all sorts of weird electrical issues with things randomly not working, gauges turning on and off, alt. voltage low, etc. Check your grounds.

Do you have a after market radio?
Yes, I certainly do. Pioneer to be exact.. That can lead to this problem? If so, I need to know asap ha. Getting irritating watching my dash gauges go of mid trip to wherever I go. Appreciate the advice as well!

I also have pioneer radio too if you have the box that controls the steering controls disconnect it. And see if it stops shutting off the gauges. This is what was happening with my car took that out and just had radio connected without steering controls for over a year now and it has never happened again.

I have the same problem once in a while. When the gauges shut off the red light on my rear view mirror goes on and the dic reads low fuel. Bonus is I noticed mileage does not get logged. I'm not too worried about it.

Yeah, I feel ya on that note. Need to get to the bottom of this though. Definitely need to know what's going on most of the time, not all haha. About to open up everything this weekend to figure this out

Are you running hids and or alternator voltage booster?
Not running hid's but I do have an alternator voltage booster... Haven't had a chance to crack open my dic. Might also be the Steering Wheel Control Interface I heard. Maybe if I get that connected I wont have to worry about weird signals throwing everything off

I would get rid of the voltage booster immediately, had one in mine and it ended up failing and burning up stuff.

Sheesh! Really, I had it for about a yr. Probably need too now.

I won't ever mess with one again. I started having all sorts of electrical issues, wiries overheating, amps going into safety etc. Once it was removed the issues stopped.
