damn windshield wipers?

hey guys i need to remove my cowl and i have the one piece design....i take off the bolts that hold the wipers down but they wont budge i cant get them off any tips?
 


You need to somehow use even force and pry them up... I have the special tool to do this, too bad you didn't live nearby.

I have a dumb idea, if you have a ball joint seperator (pickle fork) handy, carefully use that, shouldn't take much force at all. Use some work of fork tool or even a couple long heavy duty flathead screwdrivers...
 
Once you get them off you'll see the arms are splined. I recommned cleaning those "heads" off where those wipers sit on before reinstalling (the splines). From there the cowl should pop off easily...
