• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Damn it

Was almost done getting everything off to swap the old rubber mounts with the polys and on one of the LAST ONES that had to come off the head snapped off one of the ****ing bolts! ****ing great, who knows how much this will cost now, I'll find out in the morning. At least it's still driveable. Ugh.

wtf how do you do that..... lol always spray and let it sit for a bit but yeah my dads buddy used a easy out when i busted the oil filler tube bolt. so yeah go to sears and buy a easy out and read the directions ha ooo and u need a cordless drill. good luch homie

Yeah, any hardware store should have something. If you're really anal, get enough to just put all new ones on so you don't have a couple old rusty ones and one new one.

Undo all the bolts and that should just slide right out. It would be easier to remove the bolt off rad support. A little heat, wd, and a pair of vise grips should do the trick.

Wait till you get to the crossover pipe lol

fwiw iv'e heard some people ditch one of the mounts, i think they ditch the driver side and only use passenger.

it cleans up the engine bay, but with the amount of power i was running i wounldnt trust one mount to hole the top of the motor still.

My crossover bolts looked new when I took them out lol, youguys are talking about the long bolt that goes through the rockers right?

crossover bolts and rocker bolts are similar but, not exactly the same. I used my old rocker bolts to replace some of my crossover bolts since most of them snapped.

LOL,

Cheap fix is to go grab one from the JY. They'd charge you nearly nothing. And grab the bolts you take out to pull the part. Presto. Problem solved, no drilling, no blood, no sweat, and no worries.

Yeah I think I might make a trip up there soon and try and find that bolt. And a 99+ coolant tank so I can ditch the ******rigged toyota one out of there when I start the swap.
