>??? dam still wont start

hmm true... alright ill write good. haha.
well anyways yeah i got it, but 1 more question well tons of them just not right now.

anyone reccomend me a good battery? i was gonna go for a yellow top or red top optima battery but there way to expensive for me.
any suggestions?

just don't get a wal mart one, there are only a couple of companies that actually make car batteries (the wal mart ones seem to fail sooner as do die hards from my experience replacing batteries in customer cars) I have an advance 3 year warranty one in my bravada, and a yellow top optima in the gp and so far so good

hmm that makes me wanna get a yellow top still though. i found a used one for like 100 but humm do you think it would be good?

i just got off the phone, and he says he got it last summer and was used for a couple months on the cause that he got rid of the car he had.

if it's been sitting I would pass on it, the warranty is I think 2 years, but it has probably discharged, and may be bad from sitting.

all of the optimas, but moreso the yellow hold their charge exremely well, shouldnt have gone bad.

oh and on your note on battery mfg's?

JCI (Johnson Controls) makes your die hards, and your advance auto, autozone, motorcraft, interstate... others... and even makes the walmart batteries! (if you're not sure, one of the best clues is the cap on top of the cells... johnson has a patent on the integrated vent style cap that you see on these batteries.. you'll notice they're all the same.)

obviously there can be some different specs between them, but they use the same basic construction.

im just thinkin bout it .. and, i dnt think i wanna buy the optima, the advance looks like a good choice for now. im just gonna be running a 1000 watt amp. and bout it, might get a cap.

so wat ya think?

just dont be sittin in the parking lot bumpin yer stereo for long periods of time. if you kill it a few times, you'll be back in the same boat.

if you plan to just listen to the stereo when the car is either not moving or not running, save yourself the headache and get the optima

if you want longer key off stereo time get a second battery (that is what they were for in the older competition cars before guys thought they were capacitors)
