Daily Drivers?

shouldnt make a difference unless youre shredding timing chain tensioners and transmission parts.

better question is how many miles u put on ur daily driver. i know people whos daily driven cars get 5 000 miles in a year. i do over 20k.

i am thinking of running a s3x cam from intense along with supporting mods, and was wondering if anyone has run this cam and how they liked it.

S3 intense cam is pretty crazy, you would need to have someone that isnt intense tune it for you... Even then you might struggle if you drive it in sub zero temps alot.

A XP is a good balance in terms of being able to run on a mail order tune / a tune by a moron.

IS3 cam with gen5 and E85 would be a fun build forsure. That was my 1st plan then by the time you start adding in cost of heads, injectors, double roller chain, 130# springs, I think for the money a turbo setup gets to be a seriously close decision considering everthing thats needed to run that IS3 cam and get the most out of it and still prolly make 350whp. Or just do a turbo and make 350whp easily. The turbo just leaves room to make way more HP down the road.

what about broken pieces and accelerated wear on parts? im sure its not THAT dd friendly.

not the 1S3.. a small cam

I see most so far have been running or used to run a cam for about 3 years. Those that don't anymore, is it because you sold the car or did something break?
