your right, it seems they should just replace the affected rims, but lets face it, thats not going to happen, this is one of them things gm let slide, and they knew it was a problem.

the one rim i replaced, it was leaking from the bead, and the under side of the rim, everywhere!
 


ive seen a chevy truck rim split and the customer thought it was the tire was bad untill i took the tire off and the top of the rim came with it..
