05 GXP, 101,000 miles, all stock. Have a whine and slight vibration when vehicle is in motion. I can turn to the left and noise goes away. (like changing lanes) Thought it to be the hub but when I had it up in the air the noise definitely came from closer to the trans. It sounds like a rubber gasket rubbing somewhere. Is there one where the axle goes into the trans? I'm not sure if it's the CV joint, there is no clicking noise. Hubs have about 10,000 miles on them. Trans fluid looks good, P/S is full, car runs well, any help?

Sounds like a hub to me.
Jack up one front wheel at a time, put it in gear and rev to 30-50, put that wheel down and try the other, note which one makes the most noise or have someone help you and you can put your hand on the coil spring of the wheel your testing and feel for vibration. Compare both and find the noisy one.
