Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

CV axle replacement ?

Short version: How do I know that the replacement axle is fully seated or engaged with the transmission? Does it click? snap? or do i just go by visual inspection?

Long version: I replaced the passenger side CV axle on my '06 3.8L-SC GT. I drove it across town (about 25 miles) back home and drove in to work (about 12 miles) the following morning and the CV axle became disengaged as I was making a left turn (luckily right in front of work). I have now removed it again and want to have a good answer before I install it.

Thank you all in advance for your help, you've been of great, quick assistance in the past.

I just did both of mine yesterday on an 02 gtp. All I can say is push in on the metal inboard cup as far as it will go then do a small pull back on it to verify the clip expanded. It should require a pry bar to snap it out if it has locked in.
