I just realized that my fans no longer run after I turn the car off. I haven't taken it in anywhere that it could have been flashed. Is it normal for the PCM to forget something like that? Ichecked to make sure that they come on when it is running and they do. So I am puzzled and I wonder if any thing else has changed.
The crappy thing is I don't have a tuner. Is there anybody in the Houston area with a tuner that wants to help? Also does anyone have ideas of how to reset it without a tuner? Thanks:th_thumbsup-wink:
 


There are a couple settings in the pcm that could cause this to turn off and a few possibilities why its not doing it now...

1 is the coolant temp. to activate fan after keyoff
2 is keyoff fan on time when activated

The reason why it could be not doing it now is because the temp. is not greater than the setting in the pcm when keyoff.

Here is stock setting and most modified settings are similar: (this is for a 180Tstat and modded settings are in red)

I don't remember what we set the coolant temp activate for but I do know that the key off was at 120 seconds. That's why it doesn't make any sense to me. I guess I need to track down a tuner. Any one within the greater Houston area with a tuner?
