Everything that is blue is all soldered in LED's. Took me close to 40 hours to do the whole car because it was my first time ever doing it. The DIC is the hardest part.

Yes!!!! Exactly Like that!! What did u use , and can u tell me where to get the materials. Im not too electrical savvy. thanks for the quick reply

I used mainly 3mm blue LED's with resistors, Not sure which ones exactly I used seeing as it was 2 years ago. Then i used 5mm LED's for the door switches. And for the DIC i used a 3 - 4 wide FLAT LED's. The DIC is the hardest part because you have to pull part the screen and remove the red film and put in a white film (piece of paper) and then solder it back together. Then change out the bulbs with LED's.

are there different kinds of resistors? or can i go in autozone and find them? and not to sound like a noob-__-

and my next project is an aftermarket stereo. ive been having trouble in tht area too.

Lol, I ordered all of my resistors and LED's off of Ebay. But if you go that route, make sure you order them from a US seller, the Japan ones burn out real quick.

What about the resistors? Im Gonna start this project this thursday. and post update, to see if im gettin the same result

This is all I had for pics... I'll get some better ones for you tomorrow. It's a white face overlay with blue, with also a carbon fiber overlay on top of that. I got both of them off Ebay.

To beast GT. Heres how you do your fog light switch,
1997-2003 Grand Prix Fog Light Switch LED Conversion Tips and Maintenance - Car Questions, Answers, and Discussion
Im pretty sure its the same for the rest of the switches (as im am also doing this soon). I also have the "Reverse glow gauges" I got mine off ebay for about $25 2 years ago, Im not sure that happened but I can't find them for the grand prix anymore.

Question, does it really NOT matter which side (+ or -) you put the resistor? Case in point, Ive heard it should go on the + side, the the fog switch in the pic has it on the - side, would this work for the rest of the car?

okayy....so the dash lights are hooked up to the fog light switch,, does the dimmer knob still dim the lights?

and u know how the center of the speedometer on RPM gauge is a brighter whitish blue than the outer area, is that how the over lay comes or jus how u set it up?

Thats just how it comes. There is a new black face blue lighted one that just came out that doesnt have those large blue circles. I would be alllll over it except its $80. And no the dash lights are not hooked up to the fog lights. A on/off switch connected to the dimmer nob comes with it. And FYI u do not need to remove the needles to out it on, some fAncy "twisting" gets it on no problem.
