Cruise dosen't work?

That's good. My mom had a chevy van that when you slid the switch over to on, you pushed it over on more time to engage it. That's why I asked. As long as the brake lights are working, that's not the issue. If your linkage is still hooked up, the only 2 things left that I can think of is the switch or the box. Do you have a scrape yard close by?
 


Well, glad you found the problem. May be a broken clip. Let me know what you find once you can check it out in the daylight. Disregaurd some of the preveous post.
 
Just a quick update, I got the linkage all hooked back up. It looks like the clip where the cable connects to the throttle body is broken. Someone at some point gooped some sort of compound on the old clip in order to rebuild it. It hooks back up ok but in the future I will put a new clip on there. Once again thanks for all the help!:th_peaceout:
