Has anyone come across when u set the cruise control the car keeps speeding up like I have my foot on the gas. I even turned off the cruise control and it kept doing it so I opened the hood and disconnected the cable that drove the cruise. Would it be a cable issue or something else

Sounds like a vacuum issue. Ive been in a turbo car that had that happen scary for a few seconds.
