Cruise Control problem.

The cruise control went out on my '04 GP Gt a few months ago and hasn't worked since. I was just wondering if someone could give me an idea about what to check. The fuse is fine, i've checked it several times, took it out and put it back in. I was thinking it could possibly be a pinched wire on the steering column. Either that or the control module. Can anyone help?

Well, I’m happy to tell you your problem might be easily fixed.

#1 Check your brake fluid level, if it is low add fluid.

#2 Check to see if your 3rd brake light is working, if not replace the bulb. This also applies to any exterior LEDs you might have installed, if you have go back bulbs or add load resistors.

If you do both of these IMHO you will have a 98% chance of getting your cruise control back. Also, if your brake fluid is low plan on replacing your front brake pads soon. :th_peaceout:

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread but, I had to replace my abs module to get my cruise working again. I also had the infamous no TCS and ABS light. All of it was cured with the new module.
