Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Cruise control cable keeps popping off...

Every time i take my car for a drive, by the time i'm on the highway which is about 5 minutes away, my cruise control doesn't work.

The little plastic piece on the end of the cable keeps coming off of the throttle lever. Is there a way to shorten the cable/tighten the plastic clip?

Make sure you're snapping it on all the way. Mine seats with a very confident "snap" and requires a lot of effort to get back off again.

Hmmm. That may be the problem. I have just been sliding it over the little knob, never bothering to push the knob further into it.

Just went out and reattached. Didnt hear a click no matter how hard i pulled.

Then i tilted the clip towards the engine and pulled, and sure enough, a nice reassuring click. We'll see if it stays put. Seemed sturdy :)

Another big thanks to Sabre! :P

If it actually snapped, then you should be good to go. I can understand why it was coming off if you stopped just shy of snapping it.

Let us know how it goes. :)

I'm not kidding here when I say this....I had to put a little silicone adhesive in the connector and then put it on the throttle body. I've had mine off so much that it pretty much wore the plastic connector out. Don't use a whole lot, just enough to keep it there.

It has stayed put for 3 days now so i think we are in business.

If it starts being troublesome again, a little adhesive wont hurt :)
