Crossed Wires

After doing a LIM gasket replacement, I crossed the 2 and 4 plug wires. I started the motor and it obviously ran like ****, missing P0300 (Random Multiple Misfire). It sat at idle for about 30 min before I killed it. I restarted and more of the same only some thunking noises. I killed it immediately thinking I had bent a rod. Called a tow truck. As the guy is pulling up I was looking at the wires and realized the mix up. Switched em back runs and sounds perfect. No CELs.

I am however concerned about the thunking earlier and worry about piston/rod damge. Does anyone think the mix-up could have messed up the motor? Thank you.

when i mixed my wires up it did the same thing but the noise was probably just the wrong pistons firing so it made a noise cause it was thrown off the pattern it was supposed to run
