I just picked up a 97 GTP from a guy and cars in awesome condition for the most part but! When I'm slowing down I'd say 25 mph or less I hear this creaking coming from the front drivers side I thought maybe the breaks but when I make a hard left/right I hear the creaking/cracking to so now I'm thinking suspension but I can't figure out what it could be.. thanks for any help!

Well like I said it really happens when I brake it's strange I'm gonna take it to my mechanic soon but I thought maybe someone had a idea what it is..

everything 5 finger said would be in use while braking the car, as the front end dips, all that stuff moves, and can creak.

my guess is sway bar bushings are dry as a bone. and making the sounds your hearing. i bet the pass side does it too, you just cant hear it from the drivers seat.

Yea I did try when the car was parked putting my weight on the front end and bouncing it up and down to see if I heard the noise but nothing.. Suspension strut wise is good I think no knocking or anything when I hit bumps etc
