Crank shaft sensor



The best thing to do is you question it is check the wiring and then replace the sensor based on it often testing fine while being bad.
 
Or check for for unwarranted P0300 random misfire codes or in pending codes you might have one waiting for crank sensor issues. My engine always ran a bit rough. After getting the codes and changing everything else in the ignition I changed the sensor and OMG the engine feels rejuvenated.
