Crank, but no start

2000 GTP, stopped working randomly today. I replaced the crank and cam position sensors a few months ago. The fuel pump resistor is bypassed. Plenty of fuel in the tank. Well maintained in general.

I commute about 35 miles to work, about 45 minutes. Half way to work, 25 minutes or so, the car "hiccuped" once. I was cruising at about 65MPH, the car was fully warmed up, and it simply felt like it lost transmission engagement for a moment. It went the rest of the way to work without a hitch. When I got in the car to go home 9 hours later, it will not start. It will crank no different than usual, but it never kicks over and starts.

Any ideas?

How long as the resistor BEEN bypassed? Since doing the resistor mod I am assuming you have the fuel pump set in high-mode...if not disregard the rest of this. I had a local that did that and a few months later high fuel pump took a sh!t...he even tried replacing the fuses for the pump too...nothing worked. His did that exact thing too..."hiccuped" ONCE, then took a dump...wouldn't run.

Other than that...I'd look at the spark side or fuel side then...can you hear the pump priming on start? Have you tried yanking a plug wire and holding it to the strut tower to see if you are getting an arc of spark? Just a couple things...IMO...could be a bad ground somewhere too...maybe on the starter?
