Cowl not fitting properly

Hey guys, as of late waters been leaking into the florboards on the passenger side of my car. I went and followed this thread :

And at the end im trying to put the ccowl back on. I can get it on but it doesnt fit snuggly to my windshield. Theres slight humps creating openings along the windshield/cowl.

Should i be worried about this considering theres not a rain water drain under it installed? Should i get a sealant? Or just a new cowl in general since mine may be bent?

even if the cowl fit snug, it doesn't keep water out, just a diverter.. try maybe hitting it with a heatgun/hairdryer, get it warmed up a bit to flex it back down.
