Okay so I installed blue LEDs in place of stock bulbs pretty much everywhere. Two questions/issues have arisen.

The lights for the floorwell look sweet and I was wondering if there is anyway to make it so they stay on all the time? Not any of the other interior lights, just the ones under the dash on either side that light the floor. If you open the door like the other lights they turn on and then turn off shortly after closing the door. I think it'd be cool if they were on all the time. If it would be a huge PITA then meh.

Other thing is I replaced the bulb in the license plate light with an LED too. Thing is, it doesnt light up? Its not the LED being faulty as it works elsewhere. I also thought it was weird that the package came with two bulbs for this when theres only one light back there. Is there a fuse for this? I checked about every fuse I could think of that would seem related possibly and they all looked fine. It's supposed to light up when you have your headlights on right?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
 


for one, did you try and switch ploarity with the liscense plate light?

Second it would be more of a hassle on the floor lamps, you could run new wires from a 12volt and just install a switch to turn em on
 
I would suggest switch as well. Just have it so they shut off with the car so you don't accidently leave them on.
 
a switch would be kind of annoying. Oh well. the LEDs I bought said they have a diode to protect against reverse polarity. I took it as meaning they could be installed either way but im guessing it just means they don't ge harmed by being installed the wrong way then? ill try flippin it.
 
well you could just run it to a switched 12v source, so when you get in thell come on, and yes you wont mess them up by flipping them.
 
I run switches that get the 12v power from the power drop. That is only on when the car is on and if I don't want the lights on I can shut them off with the switch but then I can just leave them on all the time and they shut off with the car.
 


i feel that would be ricey to wire in with stereo. but then again some ppl like that. im not judgine anyone:th_rice:
