Could I beat a Chrysler 300 SRT-8?

yea... drag radials make way more of a difference than you'd think, haha

Still... they can beat the LS1's, and none of the owners wanted to lose to a stock Chrysler... haha
 
car and driver went 12.8 at 108 back in 98 with a z28 when the ls1 first came out.

both traping 108, to me its a drivers race. the 300 is fast for what it is tho.
 
Yeah just did it, 2 races, one from 30 and one from 10 (couldnt get a damn light) I pulled on him pretty good, the first time i probably had 2 cars up to 100, 2nd time i had a little wheel spin then started to pull....shut it down around 80 and he says "his car wouldnt shift".....amazing what losing can do to a person....excuses excuses
 


No problem, haha i figured people would want closure. And the 11.84 was with full interior, 10 inch slicks, and race gas. 17 lbs of boost
 
So you ran 11.84@117 full int. 10in Slicks and 17lbs on race gas. But you beat the SRT-8 on street tires @14lbs of boost? Thats pretty bad ass. Congrats. I need a turbo now...
 


Hey everyone i am new to the site i saw the post and just wanted to state a friend of mine is big into the srt8s and stock they do 13.0. If your doin 11.8 he would need some motor work. They weigh 4200lbs and have horrible traction but move after 110.

My car is a 99 buick regal gs, cartuning turbo kit, pt-61 turbo, air to air intercooler, 1.9 rockers, 65 injectors, 3 inc exhaust w/ cut out, tune, etc etc etc you get the point. Oh and a fully built tranny w/ 3k stall and shift kit

im boosting 14 lbs by the way, put down 361 fwhp yesterday at 14 lbs on pump gas w/ cut out closed.

nice kill. there is a senior in high school around me who drives an srt8 charger that i want to race. i think it will be close.
