Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

could i beat a 90's stang?

I would guess less than 5, if any. What "chip" does he have? As far as I know, his car should be similar to ours, it needs a reflash. Either way, it wouldn't do him much good.

The pulley is just an underdrive pulley, been around for years. I doubt they are doing his engine any good though, since they also underdrive the water pump on the 3.8, and that's not a good thing.

Aren't the 3.8's just as unreliable as the 4.0?

Going to try and get him to tonight.
i know for sure its fords 3.8 with 150hp

basically all his $1200 in mods is giving him what maybe 20hp if lucky?

1200 dollars.....he either sucks at math or he's pulling your chain. My guess would be that his total gains should be around 10-15 hp (at best).

No, they're worse. Massive issues with the head gaskets, and one overheat will about guarantee a cracked head or 2. The only way I would take a 3.8 car would be if it were free, and I was going to swap that pos.

Sone days I have to ask, what was Ford doing back then? That whole mid-90's time period was filled with horrible cars, with really only 2 exceptions, the SHO and the Cobra.

Yeah I have seen people in Grand Prix SE's walk the V6 Mustangs before. The only 90's Mustang I would never try to race is the Cobra.

Ive got one of those 3.8 fords that I will pull door to door with anybody on here with gaurantee all you will see is little birds in the tail lights getting further and further away, until I hit the brakes lol

I was just trying to get a rise out of some of you but I have a pretty decent running grand prix with alot done to it and a super coupe and my money would be on my tbird any day of the week. Maybe its because its a 5 speed rear wheel drive but it is definately a sleeper! Since I have owned it it has pulled a new challenger by 2 or 3 links a late model mustang gt and my buddies cobra beat me by a car link in roughly a quarter mile and he wasnt pulling away by any means. However they do have alot of head gasket problems because of the restricive port design in the heads, which isnt a problem with the Grand prix. I hope you guys know that im just razzing a bit not talking trash, the grand prix should take that mustang fwiw.
