I Dont know how many damn times i have gone by troopers with having my windows tinted 5% on all three of my cars (GTP, NX2000, and Geo Storm Wagon) and have not gotten pulled over. This trooper must have it out for me or something. Pulls me over and says "Pulled u over for your window tint again, roll up your window half way, do u remember me?". So i do while saying "dude i dont even ****ing know u!" Yes i have a mouth on me but only when i piece of **** cop tries to lie about ****. He says, "yup 3%, Come back to the car" So i get in and he says "So u dont remember me huh?!, about a year ago i pulled u over for doing 96 in a 65" i was like ya for speeding not tint. Like i said he must just ave a hard on for me or something. After all the bull**** he writes me a 117 dollar ticket. Any cop is a piece of **** and crooked as ****!
 


Well... think about it this way, I bet if I caught someone going 30mph over the speed limit i would remember them. They are the ones who have to respond to speeding accidents and see disfigured teens or ****ed up bodies only to pull over someone for a legitimate reason (come on 5%!!?), probably just checking in on you only to be given attitude? Yeah, Ticket.

haha im just really pissed off. Cops just need to quit with this authority crap and get over themselves because they have that piece of tin on there chest. they use it to there full advantage Every damn police force in the United States is corrupt as hell.

U must be one of them police cadets. U pull me over for 5% tint while doing the speed limit in a 45 on the interstate for construction zone where fines are doubled. Car ahead of me goes past him doing well over 45 but pulls me over for window tint. Doesnt sound like a legitimate reason to me. Checking up on me? Im a ****ing adult, i think i can handle my own.

And by the way, his attitude towards me does not mean i need to treat him all nice. When a cop treats me like an equal individual is when i will give them the respect back, but when someone walks up to me and is a dick right off, why should i treat them nicely.
 


yes that they are. I know many city cops that are cool as hell and will shoot the **** with me from time to time. The ones that treat u like your a human and dont treat u like **** are the cool ones. The ones that are dick heads to u but expect u to be nice is bull. Or the ones that will say would u like to be arrested for disorderly conduct because u say "this is ****ing bull****", what happened to freedom of speech?!
 
Yea.. I love how there are a million better things they could be doing with their time, but they decide to pull you over for window tint.. Do you know how big of a crime you just committed?? Do you KNOW what could have happened?!?!?

Absolutely nothing..

Go pull somebody over for something more endangering to other people.

lol i prolly have paid more money into the city/state in just drinking tickets and busts than i have in mods for my car.

I just don't get the point of letting a lousy tint ticket and a cops bad attitude toward ya get the best of ya. You knew that one day someone would pull you over for it, just be thankful you've gotten by for so long.

It's been well known in my state that city cops wont do anything about tint and state troopers are cracking down on tint. They have actually visited/called most eye doctors in our state to put pressure on them to prevent them from giving out fake/false 35% tint exemption cards.
 
^^^and thats how a cop should be^^^...most cops and almost all troopers are assholes but every once in a while you'll find one that arent all about their paycheck and actually worry about the safety of other humans lives...wats the deal with window tint anyways?!?...why the hell is it a law?!?

**** the douche bag cops out there that think they're better than you! I had one cop that pulled me over one late night, for riding home on my mountain bike, after a night of drinking. He was a rookie who was trying to abuse his authority right from the get go. I politely asked him, "would you rather me be driving my vehicle home after watching a fight and drinking all night?"
He then threw the "do you even have a car" question at me, as I am standing next to my almost $3000 mountain bike! I then had to advise him that I was a very successful electrician, who made more money than he did, and without working his ridiculous hours! I then handed him a business card. He was pissed at me, and his older, much wiser, partner told him I was probably right, as he had seen me working on his neighbors electrical panel upgrade I had done a few months prior.
Some cops are cool, some are douches. I am with you though, as I will not tolerate somebody trying to belittle me, regardless of some badge, or authoritative power.

DO YOU REALIZE WHY THERE ARE LIMITS TO TINT?

So a cop doesnt walk up to a car with a cracked out mother ****ing holding a gun pointed right out the window that the cop can't see because of the TINT.

There ARE people who would kill a cop just 'cause.

Also so the cops can IDENTIFY THE DRIVER from the side.

So next time when you get caught for ILLEGAL tint, don't ***** about it. Be happy you got away with it for so long.
 


My friend thats a cop told me that they stopped writing tickets for tint, and for speeding less than 7 mph over, because they were loosing money out the azz.

i can see ur point to an extent. So say u were a trooper, u would rather be more worried about someones tint and being able to identify someone and pulling them over than someone speeding in a 45 mph construction zone where fines are doubled?!
 
But like a couple of u have said, i am very lucky i got away with it for so long. The tint aint coming off for no one though.:th_nanana: I have dark as tint because i hate when people stare and **** at stop lights. U can stare at my car but dont just sit there and stare at me. lol.

and with the whole attitude thing, i think some people forget the golden rule, "Treat others the way u want to be treated" lol.
