cooling issues



by chance is the floor inside the car wet? or smell sweet inside the car? could be a leaky heater core.

the s/c engine can eat coolant as well due to bad lim gaskets. you need to look where the lower intake manifold meets the head, look for a black or silver gasket, if its silver, you should be ok, if its black, thats a old style gasket and should be changed on general principals.

if you have puddles in the deep wells of the lim thats coolant and oil seeping from the bolts.
 
i had something similar had to replace coolant elbows wash breaking them like it was nothing till i got gm ones now ive had them for more then 3 months with out breaking when it gets warm im putting in my aluminum ones i bought
