hey i am wiring a switch for my low speed cooling fans through the relay. so the switch i have is a lighted switch and say neg, acc, pos. my wires coming from the relay one is always hot. so i assume to plug the wire thats always hot into the postive, the other wire coming from the relay that isnt hot into the acc, and the negative i just wired a ground from the ebrake bolt. so i am able to hook everything up and it was working but the i noticed the light went out and it ended up blowing the cooling fans 30 amp fuse which was like 4$.
also it was working fine when i would just connect the two wires manually from the relay for a while without blowing any fuses, so it seems that the ground is letting battery voltage to the cooling fans circuit or something, if anyone knows anything let me know.
