Cooling fan issues. Need help solving problem.

Recently my 90 degree coolant hoses that run into the lower manifold busted, and caused my car to overheat. I replaced the hoses, and added coolant. Now since this happened my cooling fans wont turn on to cool my engine. I replaced my temperature sensor this morning, and nothing has changed. My next move is to replace the relay. Both fans turn on when I run my a/c but wont turn on to cool the engine. Car temp is fine on highway but rises when driving around the city. Any suggestions? Thanks, Im new to this forum. Marc.

not the rad, the bleeder valve a top the t stat housing.

leave the rad cap off, let the car car warm up, wait for the t stat to open, the fans usually come on after the t stat opens.(212 ish) then bleed the valve. open it up a few turns till a steady stream of coolant comes out. shut the screw, top off and cap it.
