• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Coolant temperature reading

What should the reading look like with a 180* Tstat? Right now mine reads right in between the 160 and 210* mark.

With stock PCM settings the motor will get hotter sitting still because the fans don't turn on until like 220 (unless the air is on then the low speed fans come on) Even with the 180 stat mine ran hot sitting still until I changed the settings. Now I have them set to have low speed fans come on at 180 and high speed at 190 or something close to that. This keeps the needle about 185 all the time in summer. You would have thought that all cars equipped with the L67 would have had these setting from the factory considering the supercharged motor???

Ya, on my tune I have the fans kick on around 180-185 I believe and it keeps it right in the sweet spot. Rarely does it go past the middle mark except in stop and go traffic. Before my tune, it would go as far as 220 or so. One great reason to get a tune.
