Coolant overflow tank

I have a 98 Gtp. When I bought it, the previous owner had taken the overflow out of it. The tank he gave me doesn't fit. Do the 98's have a different style then another year for the overflow? Also, any way to convert them to mount the tank elsewhere?

You can get the 99+ coolant tank and mount it on the strut. It's a better setup overall.

Is drilling holes for it on the strut the best way to do it?
