Coolant leak

My 2008 GP recently developed a pretty major coolant leak, I notice its pretty wet around the water pump so anybody know if its the water pump or the hose? What would be the best way to get to the water pump since its in a bad position. Also I'm thinking about swapping over to the green coolant since I'm running the red stuff in there. Is it a good idea to switch over to it? What are your guys recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Could be the coolant elbows that are right by the water pump. Otherwise I'd be sure to check the coolant hoses as well.

If the pump is bad its easy to get out. You will need to move the PS pump to get to the last WP bolt.

Check elbows first.

If its not that the bearings on the WP are probably failing causing the leak

Thanks guys, I checked it out, hadn't looked at the elbows before I took the pump off and then noticed one elbow was broken off. So I'm assuming that's the only problem since the water pump looked fine, and it was dirty/wet above the pump so I should have figured to look there first, thanks guys!

Make sure to pull the little rubber rings out before you put the new one in so the new one sticks in there well!
