Can water pump and a tensioner take being put in s 400 oven twice for 30 minutes at a time without damage?
I know some of you are scratching your head why i asked this and. That's the fun part lol

It should be fine.. Guessing your powdercoating them. Obviously remove as much as you can.

the tensioner would make it ok. but take the water out lets off the end for the heater hoses they have a o ring inside that will likely fail. id take the pulley off, unless your coating it too.

the water pump? i dont know really if it will make it. only one way to find out right?

Wondering about the grease in the pump bearing melting away

its a sealed unit so the grease will just take a real good heating. if it leaks grease the seals failed.

maybe just paint the water pump?

That's what I'm thinking paint it hey Am I going to need a new gasket for the tensioner

Oh yes those Plastic ones are garbage I just found out the hard way and placed the Aluminum ones in

Right..cause I've run those plastic crapboxes for over 200K w/o issue. BTW.. enjoy the issue when the same damn oring from the plastic one let's go on your aluminum and it's fused itself into the area with corrosion.

I can't complain those are the originals and they have 328,000 on them I been lucky
