Contemplating dash swap in my fiero.

I really like the looks of the 08 Grand Prix gxp. I like the way the dash curves towards the driver. There are a few grand am swaps as from what I read they are about 1.5" shorter and that makes the difference in fit. I will Have to cut the ends if the dash off and glass them in to the right dimensions. I have a 3800sc from a 02 regal with a 2000 gtp file flashed over. I'm wondering about the gauges, DIC and the hvac controls. What controls them, a bcm? I"m not worried about the stereo as I will be installing an aftermarket one that I am using now.
