Constant clicking noise in cabin.

I continuously hear this constant clicking noise inside my car. Its very faint. If I had to describe it I would Say it sounds like the blend door actuator constantly switching around. It does it with all the air turned off, maybe with it turned on too but it's so quiet with it on you wouldn't be able to hear it? So is this a blower resister thing? The actuator itself? Or maybe a vacuum leak? I should also tell you that all my hvac controls seem to work fine. Thanks for the help.

you'll have to reach under the dash and touch the actuators to feel if they are the sound, they can freak out and work back and fourth on ya.

In the first yr or so of owning my 97, i had a similar thing. turned out to be my speedometer cable was loose.

blend door actuator. mine creaks and groans. I'll probably crawl under there and give it a shot of silicone spray to see what happens.

i find that so hard to believe, considering you dont have a speed o cable.

really? is there a cable to the mileage counter? or the tach? it has been 20yrs so i dont exactly remember. the mechanic said it was a cable going to something in the instrument cluster.
