Conrad's Racekar Z06

Damn that looks good low. But I'm with tex, I couldn't daily that some bish lol. I'd tear that **** up on these awful roads.

No speed bumps around here really...my craftsman low profile jack JUST makes it under the front fender to jack on the rocker area. There's literally less than 1/8th of an inch of clearance between it and the fender. Once I lower the rear, I don't think the jack will make it under there. I'm not TOO worried about the air dam being so low, it has a lot of flex to it. Just got to be extra careful about bumps and dips in the road, no big deal. You guys would be surprised how many C5 owners on Corvette Forum have their car this low.

Word. We have some hellacious speed bumps, but they call them speed humps. ****ers are insane ant they are throughout various neighborhoods where I live.

Yep, we have speed humps here too. Some of them are alright, others are ridiculous. There are some if I go over them faster than 10 mph I can feel the suspension hit the bump stops. I'm not lowered at all either.

Lowered the front, there are lowering bolts in these cars and they were all the way down when I got the car. It wasn’t low enough so I removed them completely. Yes it’s safe to do, and it still rides great. Did a test drive and I was scraping going over most bumps :th_laugh-lol2:

Rear end still needs to come down some, I believe that’s achieved by aftermarket lowering bolts. I asked on the corvette forums to be sure.

Car looks great as it is, I would still put it through its paces as it sits. Just thought of this while looking at it.

Coke is awesome, that is low. Like when Drunkie posted his Panda at its lowest and propped the key against the bumper. Just looks amazing. :th_thumbsup-wink:

Factory Z06 titanium exhaust came in today :D

Been THINKING about electric cutouts, but it seems too expensive because I'd need 2.

^ This, see how it sounds and go from there. Personally just for driving around with a girl you would like it, but for racing you would want a cutout, even if you have to buy 2 stop being cheap and do it right. Very few mods on a vette are cheap, that is why its a vette.

You wanna play with the big boys you gotta put your big boy pants on!

I could put $500 to much better mods. Stock already flows FINE. There's a lot of things I can list that are corvette taxed, mainly interior/exterior appearance, but really, the only main things I'm getting is heads/cam/other engine work, which isn't 'corvette taxed'. I think I'll save the $500 and buy the C6 Z06 wheels I want.

Also, I think a retrofit is in order for this car also...might do 2 projectors on each side like I originally wanted to do on my Camaro...the lenses aren't clear though so I don't know how much that will affect the beams...
