i have a 97 grand prix se that i swapped a 2001 motor, interior and basically everything into the 97 body. all wiring has been changed. and im having problems with the headlights, horn and other electrical. headlamps dont work at all parking lamps in the rear work. but the front does not. pressing the horn makes the front parking lights come on. the horn gets 12v+ but doesnt work on my car ( works on a 12v battery) horn relay clicks but does nothing else. all connections have been checked but i cannot figure this out. please help??:th_scratchhead:

This is such a hard thing to troubleshoot that I am pretty sure no one over the internet can help, let alone in person. Since you swapped all the wiring, engine, etc, you are probably dealing with quite a mess. So I can't even come up with a thought of what could be wrong other than the wiring is messed up and not hooked up right. Something really sounds fishy when you push the horn and the lights come on.

You mention swapping the interior and engine.

Let's elaborate. Did you swap the dashboard and dashboard wiring? If you did and didn't change the wiring beyond that, it's possible the wiring doesn't line up in the connectors.
