• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Computer Upgrade!!!

I think there is another type gasket you can get for the pacesetters. I'm not sure what it is. If TDC would quit working so much and get on here, we should be able to find out from him. Search ebay for your mufflers. I've seen the pacesetters on there too, but not sure about the pricing.

they say to use some clamps with rtv and it solves your problems. i was just reading on the widebody store tho the pacesetters are better for moderite to havily moded superchargers. you will lose some lowend torque with them. the only other ones that are in that catagory are the xtream togs. 1100 bucks tho :( and they all come with a down pipe except SLP.

hmmm where can i find a scanner, i am looking at pacesetters now, real nice. did u buy the converter? i just read this off of ebay about 'em....

-This Header designed for off road use only. Will not work with stock catalytic converter, but 3" universal converter (ask me - I usually have them available) can be installed in specially-designed 3" diameter header extension (included). Cutting and welding required to install converter.

ehh depends on how far you wanna take the mods. i say go ahead and get headers so you dont have to get them later. they have different size primaries now tho to better fit your needs. and he is talking about a cat. you will need one for emisions reasons. i dont have emisions tho so i dident get one. its all a direct bolt up tho

Sounds like a better route there. With shipping and all on ebay, he'd probably end up spending about the same anyway.

First thing you should do.

If you are going to heavily mod this car, get you a scanning device. Aeroforce gauges are AWESOME, but they're a little pricey. If you decide to get the Pacesetters, I can tell you everything you will need to make them fit and seal. I'm going to start suggesting a scanner/programmer first before people even touch their car. It's probably the most important piece of equipment you can ever invest in.

pretty much all the motor mods for the 97-03gtp will work for the 04+

and you dont really need the whole cat back exhaust. all it does is change the sound and you can do that with mufflers. it gives you no performance. if you want performance get headers or a ported manifold and a down pipe.

I put down 192whp in my BONE stock 97 GTP...then I did the exhaust and intake and put down 214whp.... it does make a difference...

cat back dont really add horses. maybe a few but nothing really. the cat back flows pretty good. the stock manifolds is where its limiting the exhaust at.

Well, I guess I'm confused... I figured 22WHP is a pretty sufficient gain on a car that puts down less than 200 stock... But I guess thats just me...

well thats is a little more than cat-back then. getting rid of the stock down pipe and u bend delete will net you some power too. the stock resinator and mufflers flow pretty good. you would have to have alot of power to out flow them.
