Whats going on guys a got an 02 gt. with many upgrades and too many miles. she is starting to fall apart on me. Does anyone think its possible i could take a gtp motor, transmission, and computer and put them in my car? has anyone ever done this before?
 


it should work. Both cars would have the same transmission, and bottom end. Main differences are the m90 and the computer.

not quite.

The transmissions are different, the passenger side axles are different, the bottom ends are different.

main differences are gear ratio, axle length, injector connectors, map connector, compression, UIM/blower, file on the PCM.

however if you swap all three pieces + the passenger side axle it'll be plug and play IF you get the harness with the motor.
 


The fuel injectors and the MAP sensor have different connectors and thus you need the correct connectors for the motor you install.

You can either get the connectors from a junk yard for probably $10 for everything or spend $60+ at ZZPerformance.

Or get the harness from the same car you get the motor and transmission you get.
