CompG Production numbers

Does anybody know how many CompG versions were built in 2004 and 2005? Just curious as to how rare they actually are.

Wow, not nearly as rare as I thought. How does that work out as percentage of total GPs?

For 2004, there were 131,551 GP sold:

GT1: 27%
GT2: 52%
GTP: 7%
Comp G: 14%

For 2005, there were 122,398 GP sold - numbers are probably similar.

Makes sense really, if you are going to opt for the GTP, wouldn't you want the CompG package? I mean anyone wanting the GTP is looking for performance anyway, do you know anyone that would ask for the more powerful model but then say no to the sport package? As I recall, it really wasn't a terribly expensive option over the base GTP.

Wasn't the GXP introduced in '05? I wonder how that affected the numbers.

I always thought GXP was made in 08 only. But I am a nub.
