comp g vs mazda speed 6

so im out one night with some friends cruisen state (what we do on the weekends in slc) we stop at a chevron everyone frequents and some guy in a mazda 6 speed pulls in. i get to talking with him and he starts talkin about how he runs 13.00 at the track, and his car is just so amazing fast. and his gf is with him saying its just soo quick and nothing beats it ever. on and on. so i ask him what he's got done. answer: bov and exhaust....at this point im holding back the bs rant he should be getting. so i ask him if he would be interested in racing a gp. i tell him its a comp g and modded a bit. he says "doesnt matter how modded it is man, probably wouldnt be worth your time to go get it." so ten minutes later i have my car. were on a closed road of course. and heres the out come.

after he says, "oo man did you hear me miss third?" i say "i was 3 cars ahead of you, i couldnt hear a thing"
we raced on more time and it was the same story, havent seen him since.​
 


13's my @$$. he got his @$$ handed to him. nice kill. always nice to shut some1 up after they talk all that ****.
 
hmm there is a pretty cocky guy around me who has a mazdaspeed6 with a blowoff and who knows what else wonder if i could shut him up in my grocery getter.....btw guys while we are on the turbo car talk i learned the hard way that 240sx' can be fukkin beasts the other day....there is a 240sx raked with a big front mount with a beat up exterior and stock wheels so i asked about it wondering how quick it was turns out its a 500whp sleeper....good thing i didnt race him haha

i got raped by a ten second impulse with a turbo sr20 swap last night...it happens
 
i'd watch out with thoughs mazdaspeed6's though. His was practically stock, there is one around CR that has an bigger turbo and many other mods, and I can say that probably no car around here could touch it..
 
Good run...but 13's are easy in those cars. AWD man. I took a stock one with 1.84's, a 3.5", exhaust work, CAI, and a tune
 


Mazdaspeed is a joke haha. By far the worst AWD turbo car i've ever been in. Slow as balls!

Not even with me double clutching would it pull any harder. Has a decent launch but struggles to even get to 60.

keep in mind im in the damn mountains, the modded ones around hear struggle hard for low 14's. having said that the fastest one in utah (spped 6) is a 12.3 on a stock turbo if i remember right
