comp g vs gt 2??

I'm new to grand prix's and am shopping for a s/c model. what are the build options difference between a comp g and a gt2? Both are s/c but any other options that make one desireable?
 


The gt 2 model (2004 only) was not supercharged. It got all of the interior options but no supercharger. The 05 Gt (no "2" in the trim level) was essentially the same. 06-07 GT's were supercharged, as they dropped the GTP name and there were only base, gt, and gxp for 06-07. 2008(final year of production) came in only n/a base model and the gxp.

so comp g was only for 04 and 05 but the name was dropped in 06? Is a 06s/c gt build, the same as a the 05 comp g?

The car I looked at yesterday was badged gt on the car but in the gm build sheet it is listed gtp.
 
the only difference would be options,

what did the car you look at have?

my 07 gt s/c, leather, sunroof, monsoon, but no hud or paddle shift,

06/07 gt = gtp

04-05 SC cars would be GTP
04-05 was the only year for Comp G's. (3.29 gears, red calipers, tapshift, sporty susp) only difference would be the options
06-07 SC cars would be GT

made a purchase and got the car home last night. black 04 comp g gtp with 120 000miles. body and paint are mint. just need to fix the hud and get all the regualar maintenance up to date. The info really helped me pick out the right car.
