comp g trans 3.29 ratio (FR9)

what other car models should I be looking at that have an "FR9" trans other than other 04/05 comp g's...just trying to find a low mileage replacement thank in advance
 


The Comp G trans was the only tapshift 3.29 ratio transmission that will work with a 3800. The only other tapshift specific transmissions that GM used were in the LS4 GXPs but the trans case is different for the V8s
 
hey trannyman is their a price difference on your "standard" build transmission for the compgs compared to other grand prixs? im just talkin about the basic street built tranny... not like a crazy hyped up transmission.
 
The rebuild costs apply across the board for the most part. My base High Perf street/strip rebuild is what I suggest as a starting point for all supercharged cars while the standard rebuild option I offer is suited to NA cars in stock configuration. About the only variation in cost for the base performance rebuilds would be the core fee from tapshift to non tapshift and that would only apply if you dont send your existing transmission in to rebuild.
