Comfortable struts/spring setups?

Can we swap a 97-03 Wbody's strut assembly in the 04-09 and vice versa?

I could be wrong, but I believe the rears are different. For the fronts, if you have 04-05 (and some early 06) then no, not unless you change the front lower control arms. 04-05 and some 06 have a sway bar that connects to the strut, unlike 97-03 and 07-08 and some 06's that connect to the lower control arm.

Hmmm seems like a quick strut is the easiest way out

Mind describing to me the level of comfort? What car would it be comparable with?

I commute about 155 miles per day round trip, so I need a comfortable car. My ride is quite comfortable - not too stiff or harsh at all.
