Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Cold air intake fitment issue

I'm thinking at least for now, I'll cut it to get things to fit since I'm far too broke for turbo right now anyhow. I've been thinking about upgrading to a 97 L67 throttle body, deleting the maf sensor hole, and smoothing the lip out, then positioning a LQ4 before it. It'll have to wait regardless since I don't have enough money for a tune and it would definitely need one after that unless I want to blow up my engine! For now, I'll just chop and pray!

Well, I realized I was thinking about it wrong. Made some cuts, and wala! Here it is:

Still isn't perfectly fitted. Got some work to do, but for now, it's passable.

why do you have a filter on the intake? get rid of the self induced vac leak asap.

If you're referring to the breather, it actually is the pcv breather port for L26 intakes. Travels down the pipe, through the lower intake manifold, and into the rear cylinder head. Got the whole thing diagrammed in my PCV post.

I think there's a lot of misconceptions about our pcv system and intake paths in general.

That being said, I will be tapping into the throttle body right after the maf sensor so that I get metered airflow just like the stock setup. The only difference in L36 and L26 pcv intake is one travels through the intake to the throttle body internally, and the L26 uses this port to go externally to the intake before the throttle body but after the maf sensor.
