I seen a post on here about testing the coil packs with a multi meter, but didnt work like they exsplained but my multimeter has volts ac,volts dc,millivolts dc,resistance, diode test and 2 current settings, which do I use and what should my readings be

Unplug the wire from the coil pack, stick your fnger where the plug wire goes and have someone crank the engine. That will tell you if it works or not. :p

BTW, don't do that. It HURTS.

Take the plug wires off both terminals on one coil and crank the car over. If it arcs between the two then the coil should be good. You could still test it with a multi-meter if you really want to though.
