So I was on my way home from some where last night and got on my car a little bit to let her breathe as some might say haha, and the check engine light came on. I went to the car store a little while ago and had the check engine light read to see what my car wanted to tell me oh so bad. These are the codes it threw at me: P0102 (MAF) - P0122 (TPS) - P0300 (Random Misfire)- P1404 (EGR). Now my question is, can one of those codes cause all the others to pop up and so on? I was reading online that the misfire may be caused by the faulty EGR valve, is this true? I need to some what figure all this out by tomorrow night because I am driving about 3.5hrs to Cape Cod for two job interviews, need to make it cause I am jobless right now haha. But any ways, any insight what so ever on this issue or where I should start would be great. Thanks guys!!! :th_thumb-up:

pull your tb off and clean every sensor. pull you egr off and clean it. also throw new plugs and wires on it

will that fix my issue or at lest help? now that i think of it, i had started my car the other day and was looking at something under the hood and my sweatshirt that i had on got stuck on a plug wire and pulled it off the coil pack, that could be why the random misfire code came up, also my dad had unplugged my TPS for some reason like a week or so ago maybe sooner. So I can probably cross those two off the list, but I am going to clean them any ways and replace the plugs and wires.

cleaning the sensors and egr is free so might as well try. use maf cleaner on the maf

haha yeah thats true. i hope it will help, i really need my car for tuesday for those two interviews. not beating on my car for a while, just dont take too kindly to civics passing me at 95-100, specially that retarded looking Si from last night lol.

I love beating up on si's that think they are faster than **** lol

haha. it was nice passing him doing about 110 maybe 120 i dunno lol. then my car stalled and i just looked like a moron :th_shakinghead1:. **** happens tho. not gonna beat on it till i mod it a bit. ill try and get back on here once i get all of that done to let you know if cleaning all the sensors n what not. gonna definitely change the plugs and wires tomorrow.

i went and looked at all the sensors to see if any were visably damaged but they werent and i had the car running. while it was running i heard a tsssssss type sound and i tracked it down to a broken vaccume line. i repaired it with some rubber hoses and the issue that i was having seemed to go away. i also noticed that the vaccume line that was broken caused the egr valve to be stuck open. i am not too sure if this fixed all my issues tho. i took the car out for a ride to test it and see if the acceleration hesitation was gone and it seems to slightly be a bit better but after i hit 50mph at wide open throttle it seems to be slightly hesitant. now could this be caused by the maf sensor being bad or the tps being bad?

it was an older Si with just a short ram intake, i know the kid he is from my town. but any ways, i thought i had fixed the issue with the melted vaccume line but i was way off with that. i decided to do a complete tune up and when i pulled out my first spark plug, the electrode was GONE MELTED MISSING! i was so besides myself when i found this. to make a long story short every other plug was the same exact way, how my car ran from sat night till monday no effin idea. if i could figure out how to post some pictures on here of the plugs i would do so.
