code p0420?

Had check engine light come on in my 04 gtp, so hooked it up to code scanner and got a p0420. Saying i have low levels. Think i might just need a new 02 sensor, but looking for a bit of insight to help.

The basics are you probably need a catalytic.

Any exhaust mods?

Stock converter?

Everything on the car is stock. And yes low efficiency level

Do you notice any loss of power? I had to gut my cat a few weeks ago. Power is back to normal.

Car is kinda hesitant when i first start it and try to drive away.
