cobra rims

i have a chance at buying 18"x9" cobra rims for my 2007 gp base. would they fit. they would look so amazing if they would fit. please help me. i know the bolt pattern would fit and all that jazz, its just the width that bothers me.

P.S. does anyone have pics of the on a car...?

thanks a lot

..yeah, those 2005+ wheels have a higher offset so they will fit fine. might rub a little, but nothing a little action with rolling the fenders cant cure.

im running 03 cobras with a +26 mm off set and i rubbed not lowered.... rolled fenders and now no more rubbing and plenty of room to drop the car...:)

NICE! glad you got that all handled.

yeah i still gotta roll the 3 other ones but the one i rolled i have lots of room to work with suprisingly cant wait to roll those and drop the car decided im gonna get SSC gen II's just for a mild drop because of the roads around here...so i should roll the whole lip as one whole piece no cuts and heat up more this time right?

yeah, roll it as one big piece. youll have to hit it a lot more times to do this, but you wont screw up the fender as much. if you can touch the paint with your hand without it being too hot then it isnt hot enough.

do the 5x114.3 bolt patterns always shake on the highway. i got some with that bolt pattern(not the cobras) and they shake at 70. and BOOST how much did they rub before you rolled the fenders. and how much does it take to roll them...

i dont get any vibration/shake and ive had mine up to 120 on the cobras smooth as ever just make sure a jack ass doesnt balance them :) and i rubbed alot on the shoulder of the tire before i rolled them now i got lots of clearance.....and hey bio i rolled the right rear fender today using your heat method and one piece roll...minor crakcing right where it bends but its only visible from in the wheel well so im just gonna spray the inerds of my wheel wells with rubberized undercoating after i do all three....def roll the fenders as one piece the cuts method should be deleted from the how to section....it pulls the outer edge of the fender in right where the cuts are even in tommy gloves right up you can see the minor dimples his method creates on the edge....DONT DO THE CUTS ITS BULL SHYT...haha

you can clearly see the small dents it creates in tommy gloves' pics....i didnt see these when i first looked at the right up until i did mine and was like wtf are these then i pulled the write back up online and wahlah there they are! this method = epic fail.....it clearly misshapes the fender....
