Coating on projectors coming off

Iposted this on another forum. Figured it would help some of you later down the road.

I got my projectors from the group buy and have noticed during the past few weeks that the coating is coming off the headlights. Here are some pics. Has anyone else had this problem? I use soap and water to clean them and I have been using HIDs in them for the past few months. Plus I don't do too much driving at night. I'm thinking the california sun is beating up on them. It sucks after spending $350 for these during the group buy a little over a year ago.

I also sent pics to the guy at spyder auto. Lets see if he replies to it.
 


Received a repsonse from spyder auto. Looks like I might be getting a replacement set. I'll be taking a driver over there next week.
 
Quick update. Took a drive to spyder auto and picked up my replacement set from John. Real cool dude. No questions asked. All he did was look at them and brought me out a new set. Now I need to bounce mod these when I get a chance.

id make sure these done start peeling too - i doubt he would take em back after you B mod em.
 
Are there any threads with what you guys are doing to B mod them? I am trying to figure out the best way. I have some ideas just trying to eliminate some of the trial and error.
