i have a clogged cat is it possible to still drive the car with a clogged cat? it shakes alot and im just waiting on the parts

I wouldn't drive it unless you ABSOLUTELY have to. If your o2 sensor decides to lean out your fuel trims, you could end up with major issues.

How do you know its a clogged cat? Shaking a lot could have numerous causes. If its stumbling and misfiring then its probably not a clogged cat.

If it were a clogged cat it would run like you had no power. Just because a mechanic said its a clogged cat, doesn't mean its a clogged cat.

it runs with little or no power when i was driving it back. when i cut it on once the was white smoke everywhere (it was also cold)

If you're looking for a high flow cat, i have one you can buy. It's a bolt on, and i only had it on my GP for two months. It has no U-bend, and made a sweet sound. You could hear the increase in flow. I had it coupled with my cat back exhaust. Reason i swapped it out is because the turbo kit i bought came with a cat. If you're interested, i can send you pictures. You can email me at [email protected]
