My climate control recently went bad on me. I have the dual zone control on a 02 gt. My question is if anyone has ever put in a dual zone control out of another gm vehicle. I have one out of a 02 Monte Carlo with dual zone. Looks like all the wires will hook up but there is one extra set of vac hoses that i think are for the recirculate option. closer inspection of the GP vac switch shows that the last click (recirculate) is an electrical signal. Does anyone have any information on either vehicles system as far as wiring/vac lines as that would help me much. I like the way the monte carlo control looks compared to the GP one, plus i wont have to buy one.
 


btw put some blue led`s in for a backlight, very nice. had to change the resistor values a few times to get the thing to match the brightness of the rest of the interieror. 470 ohms is about perfect, maybe a little dimm. you need a resistor for each led too.
