I have a clicking sound coming from the front tire area. It sounds like a rock in the tire. Its there all the time not just when i turn. Its a 06 Grand Prix 130k

Does braking change the sound at all? I have seen brake pads seperate from the back plate and create clicking noises.

lower control arm bushing:D tie rods:D strut:D u name it, inspect em all, mine did the same couple of weeks ago got the control arm bushin replaced, and its gone

Braking dont change it at all just slowes down when the speed slowes. It wouldnt be a bearing would it?

i had a clicking noise just like you described... i replaced both front struts, strut mounts and a axle and the noise went away... wheel bearing is usually a humming, vibration sound.

oh man, i think i got the same exact problem u have. i sounds just like a pebble in the tire tread or something. then i thought it was the lug nuts. i could actually hear it even at hwy speeds doing like 50mph-the sound was bouncing off the concrete median thing. i think its the axles cuz i had it on a lift with the car running in drive and i could feel a tapping sensation on the halfshafts that corrosponded with the clicks. i really want to remedy the problem as soon as i can because i'm supposed to go on a 4000+ mile roadtrip in 2 wks.
